"Dennis, here's a photo of George (Harrison) with Hub Sutter and the Hubcats at KVET circa 1950.
It's George (on drums), Dean Currie on piano, Jay Clark, sax, Hub Sutter, sax, and Sammy DeMottier, guitar.
Joe Ramon played bass, but isn't present. This is the only known photo of this group."

Comments by Dave Bedrich

"This is a band from Taylor, probably late 40's, at the old Owl Club on N. Lamar (Dallas Highway back then).
Allen is Allen Rummel, Clyde is Clyde Kimbro, both also played w Happy Dan.
The young Guy in the middle, Harry, is the guy that is always at Deutchenfest w his Sister, Harry Mattoska.
The Band was started by their Dad, Uncle Billy, in the early 40's, maybe late 30's.
Allen Rummel also had a band out of Taylor called The Golden West Playboys.
All were on KTAE at one time or another. The guy on accordian looks familiar."
